Salted Chocolate Chip Walnut Banana Bread
Refined sugar free, delicious banana bread.

Salty, Chocolatey, Nutty Banana Bread... yes please! There are a thousand banana bread recipes out there, but this one definitely brings banana bread to the next level loaded with decadent toppings. Follow along the recipe below for a simple morning treat with coffee or an afternoon snack.
Ingredients:
1/3 cup melted butter
3 overly ripe bananas (the riper the better)
1 egg
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
pinch of salt
Note: To make recipe paleo or gluten-free simply swap out with a paleo flour or 1:1 gluten-free flour.
Toppings:
Kosher salt, chopped walnuts, chocolate chips, or anything your heart desires

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Start by melting the butter and adding to a large bowl. Add one egg, vanilla, and maple syrup. Mash bananas in a separate small bowl and stir in with the other ingredients. Mix in the baking soda, flour, and pinch of salt to your bowl until all ingredients are combined.
Grease and line your loaf pan with parchment paper (SO much easier to remove from your pan). Pour your batter in and bake for 50-55 minutes until top is golden brown. Let the banana bread cool before slicing and enjoy...it's that simple.
